This project approaches transformation by considering ‘care’ as an essential ingredient for the recipe of the future. When thinking about the future many things will come to mind. Soap might not have been one of them. It is a basic commodity, mostly made of fat and lye, not futurity. So we changed the recipe. Instead of specially produced fats, used oil is repurposed. An approach to reduce waste of resources and oil contamination. Ingredients do not get imported from far away but are picked up right from the local fast food shop.

This project is currently exhibited for the RecyclingDesignpreis at MARTa Herford as well as in November at Galerie Nord Kunstverein Tiergarten Berlin.
