Parentela combines the requirements of Universal Design with unpretentious aesthetics. It’s about the value and tradition of porcelain as a material, which is of special importance particularly to the elderly. Hence, it is essential to create a plate series which does not give up the value of the material but enables a more simple and comfortable eating experience. The diagonal comes in different variations and is present as a basic element throughout the series. The bevelled edge of the plate causes good accessibility of the meals.
With the subtle gradient of the base of the main course dish, the food will be designed in the easiest way possible. Combined with the understated design and the possibility of space-saving stowing, the Parentela ultimately offers every member of the family the opportunity to calmly enjoy the meal.
